Thomas Knowlton's company of volunteers from Ashford, Connecticut, 1824.

List of volunteers who marched from Ashford to Cambridge in April 1775, under the command of Thomas Knowlton, compiled by Thomas C. Hayward in 1824. The list was copied from the original in the possession of Knowlton's son, Frederick. The manuscript also contains a list of men from the company who took part in the battle of Bunker Hill, with information on the whereabouts of those who were still living in 1824. This information was derived from Frederick Knowlton and other surviving members of the company.
